Eaton is seeking an Assembler IV (2nd Shift) for our El Paso, TX location. The role involves wiring, assembling, and mounting components for electrical control equipment, with a 4:00pm-12:45am core schedule and possible overtime.

The job offers a baseline hourly rate of around $20.66 plus a $1 shift differential and eligibility for incentives. Responsibilities include following drawings, using standard tools, ensuring quality and safety, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of electrical wiring experience or a completed technical degree in a related field.
• Connectors I & II certifications AND 1 year of experience as an Assembler III.
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation benefits; candidates within 50 miles of El Paso, TX considered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards' electrical wiring per drawings and wiring schematics.
• Perform wiring and assembly for subassemblies and fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment.
• Use tools like wire strippers, crimpers, wire cutters, drills and pliers to assemble wiring.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages; ensure safety and 5-S housekeeping.
• Lift up to 35 lbs with/without accommodation; work overtime as needed.
• Collaborate across functions and adapt to changing duties.
