Job summary

General Motors LLC seeks an electronics/controls engineer focused on electronic controller development for vehicle platforms in Milford, CT. You will collaborate with suppliers, validate controller data, and support bracket and fastener integration using CAD tools and GD&T principles.

The role emphasizes automotive electronics expertise, validation of hardware and systems, and strong communication skills to work across GM teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on electronic controller experience with GD&T, CAD software validation, and automotive exposure (2+ years).
• Strong grasp of electronics hardware verification/validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Define electronic controller size, shape, orientation and placement for vehicle platforms.
• Review and support controller-to-bracket installation and fastener development.
• Define controller package requirements and review validation/test results with suppliers and GM DRE.
