Job summary

The role involves automated regression tests, troubleshooting hardware/software, documenting anomalies, and supporting calibration and field resolution activities. Hybrid work: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electronic, mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, or related field.
• Four years of experience as Software Engineer or similar role.
• Three years in embedded automotive systems with real-time processing.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ether-net.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools: CANoe, CANalyzer, VehicleSpy.
• Root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Calibration management with ETAS INCA and Vector CANape.
• Experience with vehicle electrical/mechatronics interactions.
• ECU reprogramming tools and UDS for in-field updates.
• One year in Lauterbach and GreenHills Multi; Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Eclipse.

Responsibilities

• Generate technical solutions including requirements and testing for programs.
• Serve as SME for a platform/component and participate in interviews.
• Verify controller functionality on bench and in vehicle.
• Define test cases and automate regression tests.
• Troubleshoot vehicle-level integration issues including hardware/software.
• Document anomalies using RTC or similar and confirm resolutions.
• Support algorithm requirements and I/O test cases.
• Assist calibration teams and provide field/problem resolution support.
