Job Description

*** Active Secret Clearance Required ***

This role involves performing electrical trade functions such as installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment in a 24/7 mission-critical facility. The candidate should have general electrical knowledge, with substantial experience in control systems, troubleshooting, and repairing power supplies, sensors, control components, VFDs, motor control centers, and building control systems & networks.

Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining, replacing, or repairing electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, and conduit systems.
  • Working from schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Diagnosing issues in electrical and mechanical control systems.
  • Performing load calculations and using electrician's tools and instruments.
  • Ensuring compliance with company and customer procedures and documenting deficiencies.
  • Participating in training and qualification processes.
  • Performing switching and isolation procedures for maintenance and emergency response.
  • Assisting plant operators and other personnel as needed.
  • Maintaining compliance with policies and standards.
  • Organizing and executing maintenance tasks, including major equipment shutdowns and isolations.
  • Working a standard day-time week, with possible flexible hours and on-call duties for emergencies.
  • This position is located overseas.
Basic Job Requirements
  • Eight (8) years of combined education and related experience, with possible variation per location.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to the role.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
Additional Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with technical/trade training or apprenticeship.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC electronics, DDC controls, and computer operations.
  • Experience with building management systems like Honeywell, Powers, or Carrier.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in controls maintenance and repair.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher.
