Job summary

Chart Industries in Duluth, GA is seeking an electrical assembler to wire panels and assemblies for municipal water treatment systems. You will read assembly drawings, wire components and test systems on the shop floor, contributing to reliable electrical installations.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of electrical assembly experience; ability to lift up to 50 lbs, using hand tools, and knowledge of QA/QC procedures are essential.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years electrical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read assembly drawings.
  • Wiring panels, using hand tools and measuring devices.
  • QA/QC and testing to ensure functional wiring.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

What Will You Do?

  • Wire electrical panels and electrical devices using small hand tools and measuring devices
  • Point to point QA/QC
  • Read and understand assembly drawings
  • Continue to build technical depth of Chart water processes
  • Panel integration and wiring to systems on shop floor
  • Wire components, panels and assemblies including PLCs motors, drives and power supplies
  • Test functional performance to ensure wiring and assemblies are operational

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit
  • Use hands to finger
  • Handle or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb ladder
  • Ability to stand and/or walk up to 8-10 hours a day
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs

Education

Your Experience Should Be...

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 2 plus years experience

Knowledge

  • Assist with equipment installation
  • Analyzes and interprets test information to resolve design related problems
