Job summary

Sulzer in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an electrical panel assembler to read schematics, assemble control panels and enclosures, and verify assembly quality. You will follow wiring diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions while maintaining safety standards and clean workstations.

The role requires basic wiring knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to train new staff. The position offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Desirable: 2-year Vocational Certificate in HVAC, Electrical, or Electronics.
• Previous electrical control panel assembly or related manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical motor control panels and enclosures per schematics and layouts.
• Perform final QA of series controls per company practices and NEC/CSA requirements.
• Assist QA with basic inspection and testing of panels.
• Adhere to safety standards and 5S housekeeping.
• Assist with training new employees on basic assembly and safety.
