Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a skilled electrical panel assembler to join our engineering team in the United States. The role involves assembling and wiring control panels, enclosures, and related components by following electrical schematics, BOMs, and workmanship standards.

You will perform quality checks, assist with testing, and ensure safe, accurate production. Training new staff and maintaining thorough documentation are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Desirable: 2-year Vocational Certificate in HVAC, Electrical, or Electronics.
• Previous electrical control panel assembly or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of electrical components and their purposes.
• Proficiency with standard panel-shop tools and digital multimeter.
• Ability to verify continuity and perform basic testing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and enclosures per drawings and work instructions.
• Perform wiring, crimping, labeling, and routing of wires.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Assist QA with inspection and testing.
• Identify and report nonconforming components and discrepancies.
• Support training of new employees when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
