Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical control panel assembly or similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, interpret and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Advanced experience with point-to-point wiring of relays, PLCs, I/O modules, and related components.
• Proficient in using electrical test equipment and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to complete assigned work.
• Dimension and layout back panels, enclosures, junction boxes, and related assemblies.
• Mount components to back panels and enclosures with proper spacing and alignment.
• Perform complex point-to-point wiring of relays, PLCs, I/O modules, and VFDs.
• Route, label, and terminate wires per standards; test and verify panel functionality.
• Troubleshoot wiring errors and component malfunctions; implement corrective actions.
• Verify assemblies against drawings and specs before final inspection or testing.
• Communicate design issues and changes to engineers or supervisors.
