The Control Panels Designer at Thermon will design control panels and assemblies per customer specifications to ensure customer satisfaction, production efficiency and Thermon profitability. The role is based in San Marcos, Texas, and involves identifying design requirements, preparing drawing packages, and supporting panel shop staff.

You will use AutoCAD and SEE Electrical, with CAD Drafter assistance, to create and review electrical schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams, and enclosure cutouts

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret instructions and follow guidance from supervisors.
• Willingness to learn by reading product information literature and training aides.
• Creativity, problem solving, and openness to change and innovation.
• Safety minded and team oriented.
• Able to instruct and guide new and existing employees.

Responsabilités

• Design small to medium projects or multiple small projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with designers and Project Managers to generate drawing packages.
• Collaborate with customer representatives on technical issues.
• Create and review drawings using AutoCAD and other software.
• Prepare and review drawings for accuracy.
• Review drawings prepared by other designers.
• Support production staff to ensure the product aligns with drawings.
• Adhere to Thermon procedures and guides related to quality and project execution.
