Baker Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Electrical Control Panel Fabricator to assemble, wire, test, and prepare control panels per drawings and specs. You will work with engineering, project management, electricians, and field personnel to ensure accurate, safe panel assemblies and adhere to safety and quality standards.

This full-time role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to read schematics, and hands-on fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• / High school diploma or equivalent.
• / Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• / Basic understanding of AC and DC control circuits.
• / Ability to identify and use common electrical components and hardware.
• / Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• / Proficiency with hand and power tools and electrical test equipment.
• / Ability to work safely and follow instructions.
• / Basic computer skills for reviewing drawings and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, bills of material, and installation drawings.
• Lay out and fabricate control panels, junction boxes, enclosures, back panels, and control cabinets.
• Mount electrical components such as breakers, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, power supplies, PLCs, VFDs, transformers, switches, and instrumentation.
• Cut, drill, punch, tap, and modify enclosures and mounting panels as required.
• Install wire duct, DIN rail, terminal blocks, grounding components, and cable management systems.
• Route, label, terminate, and dress control, power, and communication wiring.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and verify wiring against electrical drawings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, torque tools, and fabrication equipment safely.
• Perform continuity checks, insulation resistance testing, visual inspections, and other quality-control tests as assigned.
• Assist with panel power-up, troubleshooting, and functional testing under approved procedures.
