Job summary

Campos Fabrication is seeking an Electrical Panel Shop Technician with a keen eye for detail to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels. The role requires interpreting blueprints and schematics and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year panel assembly experience.
• Must be able to read prints/schematics.
• High school diploma / GED.
• Knowledge and experience with electrical wiring, control panels and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosure.
• Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes; using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
• The primary focus will be spent wiring panels therefore it is imperative that candidate be proficient at wiring.
• Layout of components in various size cabinets.
