SUMMARY
- Starting Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/Hour.
- Full Time.

We are seeking self-motivated individuals with solid electrical skills. You will be working from schematics, drawings, and instructions to perform builds. Prior experience with high and low voltage electricity is a definite plus. A strong work ethic and a passion to learn the field inside and out is absolutely required. This is not a repetitive function; every machine requires free thinking and extreme diligence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to perform work using electrical schematics and job specifications.
- Ability to install wiring, including three phase power, control circuits and safety circuits.
- Experience with high and low voltage electricity.
- Experience with electrical assembly and troubleshooting.
- Experience with electrical machine assembly.
- Drill, tap, punch, and cut holes in sheet metal and machine framing to mount panel and machine components.
- Route machine cabling and terminate connections in electric motors, transformers, junction boxes and control devices.
- Experience using a variety of handheld and precision measuring tools.
- Ability to identify problems with components and schematics.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to perform work using electrical schematics.
- Experience with electrical assembly and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of motor controls, PLC's, HMI's and VFD's.
- Experience with three phase power. (208, 240, 480, 600VAC)
- Familiar with electrical components (Circuit breakers, control relays, motor starters, etc.)
- Possess good communication skills & an ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Must have understanding of UL-508A standards.
- Previous experience working on control panels.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or relative experience and/or training for job classification.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Depending on job classification, may require basic math and/or tape measure reading.
- Depending on job classification, may require ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to complete work neatly and in a timely fashion.
