Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services, Inc. in Decatur, AL, seeks an Electrical General Superintendent to oversee and manage construction activities on our sites.

You will lead electricians, subcontractors, and technicians, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful completion of electrical projects. You will plan, schedule, and supervise electrical work, ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, and drive quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Certification as electrician or electrical technician.
• 3+ years of field construction management experience.
• Proven experience as Electrical General Superintendent or similar leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.
• Lead and manage a team of electricians, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure safe, efficient installations.
• Oversee electrical construction activities including material procurement, wiring, and testing.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with specs and safety standards.
• Promote safety culture; conduct regular safety meetings, inspections and audits.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, as-builts, and shop drawings.
• Monitor progress and report on schedules, milestones, and completion dates.
• Assess change order requests and coordinate with stakeholders on impacts and approvals.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to resolve project issues.
