Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors seeks an experienced Construction Coordinator to perform on-site coordination for industrial projects. You will audit contractor safety programs, guide incident investigations, and align operations contracts with site strategies while interfacing with Plant & Engineering Safety personnel.

The role requires a strong track record in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, managing time sheets and site documentation, and delivering under general supervision.

Qualifications

  • Requires high attention to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction coordination experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication across levels and external orgs.

Responsibilities

  • Audit contractor safety programs and performance.
  • Coordinate with Plant & Engineering Safety Personnel.
  • Assist in aligning contracts with site contracting strategy.
  • Interface with vendors on contract-related activities.
  • Sign and maintain time sheets and job documentation for ROST.

What You'll Be DoingJob Summary: Generally responsible for performing construction coordination for small to moderate construction assignments. This work will be performed under general supervision.Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Audit contractor's safety program and performanceParticipate in and guide injury management and incident investigation processCoordinate and Network with Plant & Engineering Safety PersonnelAssure Job Cycle Checks are completed for each SOP at least annuallyAssist Contract Administrator to define and ensure operations contract is aligned with the site contracting strategyCoordinate Continuous Improvement Efforts Accept services or work completed as outlined in job scopes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Understand the scope of work for the contractUnderstand and Communicate Area process Hazards, Needs, and ConcernsAssure Area Specific Job Scopes are maintained and keep up to date Interface and & provide guidance to Contractor ManagementInteract with Area to ensure Contractor performance is meeting Area expectationAssist Contract Administrator to assess overall contractor site performance vs. expectationAssure contractor alignment with onsite procedures and practicesAudit and assure the Support to Operations Representative are fulfilling job responsibilitiesInterface with vendors on contract related activitiesAudit for Co-management issuesMonitor safety, quality, cost and scheduleVerify receipt of services for Contractor StaffHelp CA resolve claims and issuesEnsure compliance with regulatory and onsite safety requirementsProvide input to routine on job evaluationsParticipate in package preparation process for any Request for Proposal (RFP)Conduct pre-job contract meeting (RFP Process)Sign and maintain time sheets, material tickets, documentation for ROSThis position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including paid time off, health insurance benefits, and matching retirement contributions.Ideal BackgroundEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field from an accredited university is preferred.Licensing: No licensing is required for this position.Experience: This position requires a minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction coordination and administration experience.
