Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. seeks a highly organized Electrical Construction Project Scheduler for our Salt Lake City area office. You will manage and coordinate the project schedule and Capacity Overview to ensure timely milestones across all construction phases.

You will collaborate with Superintendents, Foremen, PMs, subcontractors and vendors to keep schedules current and projects on track, while traveling to onsite locations as required. This is a full-time role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction scheduling or project coordination.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Procore.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work with diverse teams.
• PMP or related certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with goals and timelines.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, PMs, subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor progress, track activities, identify delays and issues impacting schedule.
• Clearly document and communicate changes with the Project Team.
• Update timelines due to scope changes or unforeseen events; inform stakeholders.
• Identify delays and their impact; provide progress reports to management.
• Work with project teams to keep schedules updated against GC’s schedule and on-site conditions.
• Maintain records of schedules, capacity overview, change management, and notifications.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and dependable attendance.
