Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks a Site Safety Representative for our Houston, TX project site. You will lead safety initiatives, conduct trainings, and ensure OSHA and Fisk safety policy compliance while supporting project teams.

The role requires at least 5 years in construction safety, OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, and the ability to read electrical drawings and apply controls. A valid driver's license is essential for site access and coordination.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of progressive construction safety experience.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction credential required; current First Aid and CPR certifications required.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and apply safety controls to field activities.
Strong organizational skills with documentation management and training records.
Valid driver’s license; must meet driving policy requirements and customer background checks.

Responsibilities

Provide onboarding and safety orientation for new employees.
Maintain a visible site presence to monitor daily work activities and enforce safety requirements.
Review schedules and job hazard analyses to confirm appropriate safety controls before work begins.
Develop and review MOPs, SOPs, and electrical safety procedures.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field training; coach employees and supervisors.
Maintain SDS documentation and support Hazard Communication Program.
Lead investigations of near misses, injuries, and incidents; perform root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
Coordinate first aid response and return-to-work processes as needed.
Collaborate with project management and field supervision to resolve safety concerns and support project execution.
