Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Site Safety Representative to join our Houston, TX office. You will provide onboarding and safety orientation, monitor daily activities, and enforce OSHA, NFPA 70E, and Fisk safety policies to keep projects safe.

Responsibilities include reviewing job hazard analyses, leading toolbox talks, investigating incidents, and coordinating with project management to resolve safety concerns while supporting project execution.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction credential required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, LOTO and PPE requirements.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and apply safety controls to field activities.
• Strong organizational skills for documenting training records.
• Excellent communication and ability to coach field employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding and safety orientation for new employees.
• Maintain a visible site presence to monitor activities and enforce safety policies.
• Review look-ahead schedules, job hazard analyses, and work plans to confirm safety measures.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field training with staff.
• Lead investigations of near misses and injuries; perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide first aid response and coordinate medical attention as required.
