LeoForce in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a mid-level Purchasing Agent for construction projects. You will coordinate day-to-day purchasing activities, source electrical materials from qualified vendors, and release purchase orders based on project scope and delivery dates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in construction, preferably electrical.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to build productive vendor relationships and manage multiple purchasing needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day purchasing for construction projects from needs to delivery.
• Source electrical materials from qualified vendors following procurement practices.
• Prepare and release purchase orders based on scope, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Maintain and expand the supplier network in collaboration with Purchasing Manager.
• Gather BOMs, take-offs, and requisitions from project managers and field supervision.
• Evaluate supplier pricing to support cost-conscious purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors on delivery timing, staging, and storage for project schedules.
