Job summary

Superior is seeking a Construction Project Manager for the Enterprise Services Group based at a jobsite in South Bend, Indiana. You will manage construction projects, schedule resources, and ensure budgets and timelines are met while coordinating with the Superintendent and Foremen.

This role emphasizes client relations, risk management, safety, and clear communication with all stakeholders. Local candidates in Indiana are preferred, with relocation assistance for qualified senior candidates.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of project operations/project management experience in commercial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management or related field; a Construction Management certificate; or equivalent field or project experience on a commercial construction site.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M.
• Extensive knowledge in construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout.
• Manage all project finance requirements, including billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost to complete.
• Earn the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges.
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers.
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed.
• Serve as a key leader and provide clear communication and guidance to all team members.
• Understand the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed.
• Review all project documents including estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Ensure the timely completion of all job closeout procedures.
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite.
