Job summary

gpac partners with a respected electrical contractor to hire an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through completion. The role is based in Phoenix, AZ and requires leadership across schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.

You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget while maintaining high quality workmanship and strong client partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience with change orders and project financials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple commercial electrical construction projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower forecasts, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field personnel.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting budget or schedule.
• Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support project engineers, coordinators, and field teams.
