Job summary

Midwestern Electric, a GreenArrow company, is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects from pre-construction planning through closeout. You will own budgets, schedules, permits, subcontractors, client communication, safety standards, and field coordination.

You will ensure projects are planned thoughtfully, executed safely, and delivered on schedule with strong client and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Strong leadership with mentoring abilities and accountability.
• Knowledge of NEC, permitting, and job site safety standards.
• Proficiency with Procore; estimating software a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced construction environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction projects from award through closeout, including planning, scheduling, execution, and final documentation.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, submittals, billing, and project reporting.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal departments to keep work moving forward.
• Prepare project implementation plans including construction operations plans, Activity Hazard Analyses, Risk Management Plans, and Safety Plans.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor and vendor agreements, and ensure permits and licenses are in place before work begins.
• Determine equipment, material, and manpower needs, and allocate resources throughout each phase of the project.
• Champion job site safety and ensure all applicable safety protocols are followed consistently.
• Identify risks early, resolve issues proactively, and communicate clearly with the General Manager and project stakeholders.
• Mentor construction workers, junior team members, and direct reports by setting expectations, providing feedback, and supporting their development.
• Support consistent processes, training, and project management practices that strengthen team performance and project delivery.
