Job summary

IB Abel is seeking an experienced Estimator to support the electrical division through all estimating phases, analyzing blueprints, specifications, and quotes to prepare precise bid submissions. You will collaborate with a proactive team, mentor associates, and participate in bid reviews, with regular travel to offices and job sites and a flexible work-from-home option when appropriate.

Required: Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management or related field, 5+ years in electrical

Qualifications

• Must have experience reading blueprints, designs, specs and proposals to prepare time, cost, equipment, labor, and material estimates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bid checklists and bid load.
• Review contract documents for project requirements and pricing.
• Obtain vendor/subcontractor quotes and evaluate for best price.
• Prepare detailed price proposals and bid forms.
• Participate in estimate reviews with stakeholders and finalize awarded bids.
