You will be the primary liaison with clients, support field forces, and help maximize profitability by guiding pre-construction, estimates, and procurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of project management in construction.
• Electrical industry experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and professional etiquette.

• Ability to communicate with electricians, architects, engineers, general contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Estimate projects across Plans & Specs, Design Build, and Conceptual Estimating.
• Perform quantity takeoffs; request and evaluate major quotes.
• Review pricing and methods for future estimates.
• Secure favorable material and equipment quotations.
• Become proficient with estimating software and verify calculations.
• Use company labor/material databases during estimates.
• Oversee pre-construction per contractual requirements.
• Maximize profitability and negotiate material/equipment purchases.
• Collaborate with foreman to plan, schedule, and execute work.
• Handle all project correspondence and assist with personnel management.
• Monitor productivity and take corrective actions; attend project meetings.
• Ensure proper allocation of manpower, equipment, and tools.
• Advise and manage monthly billings and job cost projections.
