Job summary

LEED Electric, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of electrical construction projects.

You will work under the Project Manager, assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout activities, and develop technical and project management skills on the job. The role emphasizes drawing/specification reviews, progress tracking, and coordination with subcontractors and vendors, with opportunities for growth in an established electrical

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a construction-related role, preferably electrical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline preferred; equivalent may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing project objectives, procedures, schedules, and performance standards per company policies and project requirements.
• Review construction drawings and specs to identify discrepancies and issues; assist with RFIs and reviewing responses from vendors/subcontractors.
• Participate in constructability reviews and coordinate electrical requirements with other trades to resolve conflicts.
• Prepare and maintain specification extracts to verify materials, equipment, and subcontractor work comply with specs.
• Maintain project files, logs, and documentation for tracking progress (submittals, RFIs, COs, etc.).
• Track equipment deliveries, subcontractor deliverables, and milestones to ensure compliance with contract and schedules.
• Maintain drawing logs and document control records for current drawings and revisions.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and submittal reviews.
• Review closeout requirements and assist with closeout documentation (warranties, submittals).
• Communicate project updates and outstanding items to Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
