Job summary
Ace Electric is seeking an Operations Manager to lead electrical construction field operations for our Travel Team, coordinating projects, workforce planning, and performance across large-scale electrical installations.
The role focuses on safety, efficiency, quality, and timely delivery, guiding Superintendents and collaborating with Project Managers to optimize execution and results.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in large scale construction, electrical construction, or engineering.
- 3+ years of leadership or operations management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead field operations across multiple job sites to meet safety, quality, schedule, and productivity goals.
- Coordinate workforce planning, staffing and operational resources to support project teams.
- Coach and develop superintendents and field leaders to improve performance and accountability.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors and vendors to ensure project success and strong relationships.
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all safety standards and policies.

Ace Electric is seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead field operations, project execution, workforce coordination, and operational performance across large-scale electrical construction projects for our Travel Team.
This leadership role is ideal for professionals with experience in:

The Operations Manager – Electrical Construction serves as a strategic operational leader supporting the Tennessee Division Vice President in overseeing daily field operations, workforce planning, project coordination, safety initiatives, and team performance

Ace Electric provides a structured 90-day onboarding and leadership training program that includes travel to:
- Valdosta, GA (Headquarters)
- Jackson, TN (Division Office)
- Columbus, OH (Job Site and Training Site)
- Jackson, MS (Job Site)
- Atlanta/Covington, GA (Job Site)
Following training, the role will primarily operate from the Jackson, Tennessee office.
- Lead and support electrical construction field operations across multiple job sites
- Ensure projects maintain safety, quality, schedule, and productivity goals
- Coordinate workforce planning and staffing needs
- Support project teams with operational resources and problem-solving
- Monitor project timelines, manpower, cost performance, and operational efficiency
- Lead Superintendents and partner with Project Managers to improve execution
- Provide operational insight and reporting to division leadership
- Help drive process improvements and operational consistency
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate Superintendents and field leadership
- Foster accountability, teamwork, and professional development
- Support company HR policies, employee engagement, and performance initiatives
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success
- Support customer satisfaction and long-term relationship development
- Assist with issue resolution and operational communication
- Promote a strong safety-first culture
- Ensure compliance with company policies and jobsite safety standards
- Support implementation of safety initiatives and best practices
- 5+ years of experience in large scale construction, electrical construction, or engineering
- 3+ years of leadership or operations management experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Bluebeam
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
- Valid driver’s license with no DUIs
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work in both office and field environments
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Walk and stand for extended periods
- Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Wear required PPE
- Safely operate company vehicles
- Travel between job sites and regional offices as needed
