Job summary

Verto People Ltd is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to oversee on-site electrical works for a power generation project in Texas. You will represent the owner, monitor contractor delivery, review installation quality and resolve issues before progress or handover.

The role requires deep experience in electrical construction, leadership of EPC contractors, and strong knowledge of NFPA standards and medium-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of electrical construction experience in power generation.
• 5+ years supervising EPC contractors on behalf of an owner under lump-sum contracts.
• Practical knowledge of medium-voltage systems and generator connections.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of electrical construction experience within power generation, including five years in supervisory roles.


• At least five years overseeing EPC contractors on behalf of an owner under lump-sum contracts.


• Practical knowledge of medium-voltage systems and generator connections.


• Familiarity with NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.


• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience.

Experience installing generator step-up and auxiliary transformers would be advantageous, alongside familiarity with construction document management software.
