Job summary

Verto People Ltd is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to oversee on-site electrical works for a power generation project in Texas. You will represent the owner, monitor contractor delivery, review installation quality and resolve issues before progress or handover.

The role requires deep experience in electrical construction, leadership of EPC contractors, and strong knowledge of NFPA standards and medium-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of electrical construction experience in power generation.
• 5+ years supervising EPC contractors on behalf of an owner under lump-sum contracts.
• Practical knowledge of medium-voltage systems and generator connections.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of major electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear and generator connections.
• Monitor cabling, terminations, grounding and associated electrical works.
• Review work packages and identify gaps in scope or installation requirements.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with contractors and wider project teams.
• Participate in site inspections, system walkdowns and punch list reviews.
• Check equipment storage and preservation before installation.
