Job summary

Bilfinger North America in Mehoopany, PA seeks an Electrical Construction Manager to lead detailed planning and scheduling of electrical work, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance. The role interfaces with owners, engineers, and suppliers to deliver integrated construction plans.

Candidate should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management with 2–3 years in industrial construction, strong communication, and LEAN and OSHA training preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 2–3 years of Industrial Construction experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• LEAN principles preferred.
• OSHA 30 Training preferred.
• Capable of handling multiple projects.
• Collaboration and team building skills.
• Paper converting experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule electrical work in detail.
• Integrate engineering information packages and develop construction plans and other deliverables for field and supervision.
• Review design drawings for constructability and completeness.
• Ensure proper safety procedures are specified and documented on all planned jobs.
• Develop a plan for completion of all work orders, including labor estimates and materials needed.
• Develop detailed construction plans and deliverables for field and supervision.
• Work with Procurement, Engineering and outside suppliers to order parts/materials for tasks.
• Participate in planning detailed shutdown and turnaround work.
• Collaborate with other Construction Managers to align on goals.
• Direct interface with Owner & Engineers; liaise between design firms and field crews.
• Responsible for Construction Cost Management including change orders.
• Subcontractor bid package writing.
