Job summary

ICS Holding is seeking an Electrical Estimator to determine costs and resources for electrical construction projects. You will review plans, specs, and drawings to quantify materials, labor hours, and equipment, ensuring accurate, competitive estimates to support bids.

This role requires 1–3 years estimating experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, and proficiency with Bluebeam and estimating software.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of estimating experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
• Must pass Drug and Background screen

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specs, and related documents to develop accurate cost estimates
• Analyze electrical drawings and specifications to identify components and quantities
• Perform material takeoffs and estimate labor hours for installation, testing, and related tasks
• Maintain cost database with pricing information for materials, equipment, and labor
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals for electrical construction projects
• Identify opportunities for value engineering to reduce costs without compromising safety or quality
• Assess risks and develop contingency plans to manage potential cost impacts
• Document estimating activities and generate reports for stakeholders
• Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure pricing accuracy
