Job summary

OLH Inc. is seeking a Construction Discipline Engineer-Electrical for SRMC in Aiken, SC.

The role focuses on planning and technical oversight of field electrical construction activities, including procurement, fabrication, installation, modification, and maintenance of systems and components. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, 5+ years of construction field engineering experience, familiarity with NEC, and strong design review capabilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 5+ years of construction field engineering experience or an Associate’s degree with 5–10 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 10+ years in construction engineering.
• Experience with electrical engineering principles for field conditions and NEC familiarity.
• Ability to read schematics and work with design team to ensure constructability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design agencies for timely design issuance and constructability reviews.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and codes.
• Develop and review work execution plans and hazards analyses for field execution.
• Lead field walkdowns, monitor procurement, and verify material deliveries.
• Generate/approve permits and ensure proper safety and compliance in field operations.
