Job summary

OLH Inc. in Aiken, SC seeks a Construction Discipline Engineer-Electrical to provide planning and technical oversight of field construction activities, including procurement, fabrication, installation, modification and maintenance of electrical systems.

Responsibilities include design reviews for constructability, material take-off, work execution plans, hazard analysis, and close coordination with design engineers and quality control to ensure safety, schedule and budget compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years in construction field engineering required.
• Alternate path: associate’s degree in engineering with 5–10 years of construction experience.
• High school diploma with 10+ years in construction engineering considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design agencies to ensure timely design issuance.
• Review designs for constructability and resolve field issues with engineers.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and workmanship for code compliance.
• Generate and review work execution plans and hazards analysis.
• Support material take-off and procurement activities.
• Lead field walkthroughs and coordinate daily field support.
• Close permits and document work execution plans.
