NYSEG is seeking a Construction Manager to coordinate construction and commissioning activities for electric lines and substations across AVANGRID affiliates in Maine, New York, and Connecticut. You will ensure safety, quality, timeliness, and cost‑effective completion while leading field teams.

The role requires coordinating contractors, reviewing contracts, and managing project budgets. Travel to construction sites and strong leadership are essential for success in this position based in

Qualifications

• Experience with construction management practices for electrical utility lines and substations.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; report writing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide management for Field Construction Managers on construction and commissioning of electric lines and substations.
• Determine contract resource requirements and manage contractor performance.
• Coordinate field inspections and sign-offs for construction projects including environmental aspects.
