Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years purchasing experience, preferably electrical construction.
• Experience with Astea or similar web-based procurement/inventory software.
• Knowledge of electrical construction submittals and materials; lighting/generators/switchgear experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process daily orders and negotiate with vendors for timely delivery.
• Research cost reduction opportunities and price materials.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders; monitor pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers on purchasing needs and cost codes.
• Resolve invoice issues with AP/AR; ensure accurate pricing.
• Maintain vendor relationships and update market knowledge.
• Support LEAN initiatives to improve purchasing efficiency.
