Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in Clinton, MD is seeking an Associate Project Manager for electrical construction. The role supports the Project Manager on a major project, coordinating with General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents and Foremen to align scope, budget and schedule.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 0–1 year of CM experience, with travel willingness and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 0-1 year of construction management and/or project experience or knowledge of construction methods.
• Project Management training, experience or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle.
• Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Must be willing to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations.
• Experience with Accubid a plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the total construction and design effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate communication between internal and external project members including General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen.
• Assist the Project Manager in staffing decisions such as superintendent and foremen selection.
• Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects.
• Assist with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change orders.
• Support safety program implementation and ensure OSHA requirements are met.
