Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in San Francisco, CA seeks an Associate Project Manager for electrical construction to support project management and field teams. You will help coordinate design, procurement, and project staffing while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 0–1 year of construction experience, with travel to project sites possible. Accubid and Bluebeam Revu experience are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 0-1 year of construction and/or project experience OR knowledge of construction methods.
  • Project Managed training, experience or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle.
  • Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Must be willing to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations.
  • Experience with Accubid a plus.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project, including general contractors, subcontractors, superintendents and foremen.
  • Assist the Project Manager in the authorization and/or approval of all project staffing including, but not limited to, choice of superintendent, general foremen, and foremen.
  • Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects.
  • Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests.
  • Assist in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensure OSHA requirements are met.
