Job summary

EMCOR Group in the United States is seeking a Project Manager for electrical contracting to lead projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate with the Project Manager, Foreman and Superintendent to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and maintain strong client relations.

The role includes preparation of cost reports, submittals, take-offs, procurement, change orders, billings and closeout activities in a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize a project under the directions of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Monitor project activities with the onsite Foreman and Superintendent to ensure on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts including billing, rental equipment, income/expense.
• Maintain a good relationship with the client.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors and design professionals to discuss and resolve issues.
• Continually identify and proactively manage project requirements.
• Prepare project submittals and drawing take-off/estimating.
• Procurement of materials and preparation of change orders.
• Preparation of billings and collections.
• Project closeout activities and forecast budgeting.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules and oversee electrical installation.
