EC Electric in Renton, WA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to provide high-level coordination support with construction project management and field staff.

The role assists with managing documentation (submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes), project activities, and budgets in Viewpoint, under PM or PX guidance. The position offers a competitive salary and full benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with managing all project documentation (submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes).
• Assist with supervision and directing project activities as assigned by the PM.
• Assist with change order, submittal, and document control logs in Viewpoint.
• Assist PM/PX with subcontractor documentation and Owner/Manual drawings.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files under PM/PX guidance.
• Assume temporary total supervision responsibilities in PM's absence.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
• Assist with establishing workflow breakdowns with Field Supervisors and Project Managers.
• Assist with ensuring project billings are accurate and submitted timely.
• Assist in writing and submission of quality RFIs.
• Assist PM to ensure timely payments to subcontractors and vendors.
• Review and update construction schedules as requested by PM or PX.
• Assist in setting up project budgets in Viewpoint with Field Supervisor.
• Coordinate with Payroll to ensure payroll data is submitted.
• Other duties as assigned.

The position of Assistant Project Manager for this group is responsible for providing a high level of coordination support in a variety of areas, partnering with construction project management and field staff.

1. Assistwithmanagingall aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes.
2. AssistwithsupervisionanddirectingprojectactivitiesasassignedbythePMincludingplanning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc.
3. Assistwiththemaintenanceofallchangeorder,submittalanddocumentcontrollogswithinViewpoint.
4. AssistPMandPXwithinteractionswithsubcontractorstomakecertainthatwe have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
5. ResponsibleforcreatingtheJobInformationSheetsandestablishingjobfiles under the direction of the PM or PX.
6. AssumetemporarytotalprojectsupervisionresponsibilitiesintheabsenceofthePM.
7. Abletoreadandbasicunderstandingofelectricaldrawingsandspecifications.
8. Assistwithestablishingworkflowbreakdownsinconjunction with Field Supervisors and Project Managers.
9. Assistwithensuringprojectbillingsareaccurateandsubmittedtimely, monthly, and per contract documents.
10. ResponsibleforassistinginwritingandsubmissionofqualityRFIs.
11. ResponsibleforassistingPMtoensuretimelypaymenttosubcontractorsandvendors.
12. Abletoreviewandupdatestatusofconstructionschedulesasperrequestof PM or PX.
13. AbletoassistProjectManagementteamwiththesetupofprojectbudgetsin Viewpoint in conjunction with Field Supervisor.
14. WorkwithPayrolldepartmenttoensureaccuratePayroll information has been submitted.
15. Otherdutiesasassigned.

Salaryrangeforthispositionis$80,000-$140,000annually.
