Job summary

Upgrade Resources in Dallas–Fort Worth is seeking an Electrical Constructability Manager – VDC/BIM to oversee the constructability phase of projects onsite in the DFW area. You will partner with internal departments and clients to ensure standards are applied during detailing and project execution.

This role emphasizes divisional leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and coaching staff across locations, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, quality control, and RFP oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10 years of related experience or trade apprentice with 8 years of field experience.
• Field Foreman/General Foreman experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to manage a distributed/multi-location team.
• Ability to promote strong working relationships with internal team members.
• Knowledge of design and coordination process and constructability guidance timing.
• Ability to set deadlines and adhere to project schedules.
• Working knowledge of AEC, BIM, CAD software: Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of constructability for the division.
• Implement construction standards through detailing process.
• Ensure quality control throughout project execution.
• Initiate constructability kick-off meetings.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff across locations.
• Identify performance inefficiencies, issues, and risks.
• Lead projects spanning multiple functions to completion.
• Develop deliverables, timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications.
• Report progress and provide feedback to divisional management.
• Maintain current industry standards and best practices.
• Oversee budgeting process, including RFPs.
