Job summary

Codale Electric Supply in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Product Manager - Commodities to drive profitable growth in wire and conduit opportunities. You will manage RFQ opportunities, coordinate with Purchasing, suppliers, and sales to meet customer needs while protecting margins.

Responsibilities include developing a commodity category strategy, monitoring metal markets and supply risks, negotiating contracts, and improving landed cost and working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of commodity category management or procurement experience.
• Experience with electrical product categories such as wire & cable preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive commodity category strategy.
• Monitor market dynamics including commodity trends and supply chain risks.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contracts, rebates, and partnerships.
• Drive sourcing initiatives to improve cost, margin, and working capital.
• Coordinate RFQ opportunities and partner with sales teams.
• Oversee commodity orders from PO through fulfillment.
• Serve as the local expert for commodity services and solutions.
• Build relationships with sales, branches, and leadership.
