Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC is seeking an Electrical Cognizant System Engineer/Technical Authority for the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. The role leads configuration management activities, evaluates design changes, troubleshoots issues, and ensures operability of critical plant systems in a high-security DOE environment. U.S. citizenship and DOE Q clearance required.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years direct experience.
• Cognizant System Engineer with electrical engineering emphasis requires knowledge of electrical systems and preferred knowledge in manufacturing process equipment, industrial electrical equipment, facility-related electrical systems, electromagnetics, electrostatic discharge, and/or lightning protection.

Responsibilities

• Apply the systems and equipment expertise needed to resolve technical system and equipment issues in cooperation with other related disciplines.
