Job summary

Micro Precision in Amherst, NH is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate a variety of test instruments across electrical, industrial, and temperature equipment. You will collect data, document certifications, and maintain lab standards while communicating findings to customers and coworkers.

Ideal candidates have basic instrumentation experience, math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; training is provided and travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and dimensional equipment.
• Experience with basic instrumentation and manual tools.
• Basic mathematics understanding.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate a variety of test instruments across skill areas (Electrical, Industrial, Temperature).
• Maintain and check company standards as assigned by Lab Manager.
• Collect calibration data and complete certifications, including out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
• Communicate calibration issues clearly with customers and coworkers by phone, in person, and email.
• Work environment includes local lab and customer facilities; up to 25% travel.
