Job summary

Micro Precision is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate a variety of test instruments across electrical, industrial, and temperature equipment areas. You will collect data, perform calibrations, and ensure standards are maintained while communicating results to customers.

Ideal candidates have basic instrumentation experience, solid math skills, and can work independently or under supervision of Senior Technicians. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools.
• Basic mathematics understanding.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate test instruments across multiple skill areas (e.g., Electrical, Industrial, Temperature).
• Perform standards maintenance & checking of company standards when assigned.
• Collect calibration data and complete certifications, including out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Share gained knowledge with team and best practices.
• Communicate calibration issues and procedures with customers and coworkers.
