Job summary

Micro Precision Calibration Inc in Westminster, CO, is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate a range of test instruments across electrical, industrial, and temperature equipment. Responsibilities include instrument calibration, working in the lab and at customer facilities, and occasional overnight travel up to 25%.

Applicants with a valid driver's license and basic knowledge of mechanical/dimensional equipment, plus familiarity with MS Word/Excel, will be considered; training is

• Valid driver's license required
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and dimensional equipment preferred
• Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
• Basic mathematics understanding
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in MS Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently and under supervision of Senior Technicians
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate a variety of test instruments across skill areas such as Electrical Equipment, Industrial Equipment, and Temperature Equipment.
• Work in the local laboratory and at customer facilities.
• Travel up to 25% out of town, overnight.

• Responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments for one or more skill areas, such as:

1. Electrical Equipment
2. Industrial Equipment
3. Temperature Equipment

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment preferred
• Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
• Basic mathematics understanding
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in MS Word and Excel
• Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Training

Work Environment

• Work performed in the local laboratory and at customer facilities
• Up to 25% out of town, overnight travel
