Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks a CAD Technician in Ruston, LA to draft and revise electrical infrastructure drawings for medium/high-voltage projects. The role supports engineers and will be placed at CAD Technician I–III based on skill and experience.

Responsibilities include learning standards, using document management systems, and ensuring accuracy of drawings while collaborating with a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior CAD experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in drafting and design or comparable field is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2010 or newer is required.
• Experience with MicroStation, Inventor, Revit, or 3D CADD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise CADD drawings per engineering markups.
• Perform engineering support tasks under supervision.
• Learn and apply corporate/client drafting standards.
• Use document management systems accurately.
• Ensure quality and raise issues with the responsible party.
