Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks a CAD Technician in Austin, TX. Responsibilities include drafting and revising CADD drawings for medium/high-voltage projects under supervision.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in drafting or similar, and experience with AutoCAD; knowledge of MicroStation, Inventor or Revit is a plus. Office located at 11501 Burnet Rd Ste 200, Austin, TX 78758.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in drafting and design or comparable field is required.
• AutoCAD 2010 or newer experience is required.
• Experience with MicroStation, Inventor, Revit, or 3D CADD is preferred.
• Basic drafting including drawing scales and reproducing markups.
• Experience with CADD, word processing, spreadsheets and email.

Responsabilidades

• Create and revise CADD drawings per engineering markups.
• Perform engineering support tasks under supervision.
• Learn and apply corporate drafting standards.
• Learn document management systems.
• Ensure quality of work and raise issues with the responsible party.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
