Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with drafting tech coursework.
• Specialized CAD certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to grow in the field.
• Authorized to work permanently in the US for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing drawings and revising engineering drawings from sketches.
• Prepare and revise plot drawings.
• Adhere to drafting standards and procedures.
• Adhere to discipline-specific drafting practices.
• Assist in drafting design and documentation for projects.
• Utilize standard drafting detail programs.
• Support continuous drafting detail improvements.
• Research solutions to design problems and recommend fixes.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
