American Emergency Vehicles (AEV) is a Terex Corporation company and a leading ambulance manufacturer. The position provides routine drafting support, creating drawings and schematics from blueprints and specifications.

You will coordinate with engineers and apply CAD/CAE tools to develop designs with a focus on accuracy and manufacturability. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related experience, an associate degree in engineering or engineering technology, and knowledge of manufacturing

Competenze

Associate’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent preferred.
0–2 years of related experience typical.
Knowledge of manufacturing industry and vocational standards preferred.
CAD and CAE software experience essential; strong problem-solving skills (5 whys & root cause analysis).
Strong communication and collaboration with production teams and engineers.

Mansioni

Develop detailed design drawings and specifications from markups and verbal instructions using CAD equipment.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems.
Review specifications and drawings to assess factors affecting design and procedures.
Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or production problems.
Check dimensions and tolerances to ensure proper fit and function.
Lay out and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict relationships.
Maintain CAD standards and BOM library for cross-department accessibility.
