Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking an Electrical CAD Designer to prepare and revise drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. You will coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to document wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or technical diploma in electrical design or 3+ years of equivalent experience; proficiency with SolidWorks Electrical, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or EPLAN is preferred, along with

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in electrical design/engineering, or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
0–3 years of electrical design/CAD experience preferred.
Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, EPLAN, or equivalent.
Ability to read electrical diagrams, wiring drawings, and cable schedules.
Basic knowledge of power distribution, transformers, relays, and three-phase systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and revise electrical drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, three-line diagrams, cable schedules, and panel layouts using CAD software. Ensure drawing accuracy, compliance with engineering standards, proper documentation, and coordination with electrical and mechanical engineering teams.
