Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring an Assembler in Cedar Rapids, IA. Earn $17+ per hour on 1st or 2nd shift with hours from 7:30am-4:00pm or 4:00pm-2:30am. Prior assembly experience preferred as you work on electrical cables and components in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include following wiring diagrams, using crimping tools, inspecting assemblies, and maintaining a safe work environment. Great opportunity to join a growing team with immediate hiring.

Qualifications

• Reading and following work instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Able to read a tape measure to 1/8 inch.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical cable assemblies and electrical components.
• Follow written instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Use crimping tools to terminate wires and cables.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Meet production and productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
