Job summary

Aventure Staffing seeks motivated assemblers in Estherville, IA. Positions on 1st shift (6:30am–2:30pm) and 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) with occasional Saturday overtime. You will assemble power cables and related components, following strict specifications and safety rules to ensure quality.

The role requires attention to detail, good hand–eye coordination, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Training is available, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to read workshop documents and understand cable specifications.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Strong math skills for measuring lengths and widths.
• Capable of following safety procedures and quality standards.
• Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Assemble power cables, junction boxes, and components following specifications.
• Operate automatic equipment and hand tools safely during assembly.
• Apply proper torque settings using the reference guide and supervisor guidance.
• Ensure all products meet established guidelines and production targets.
• Assist other departments as required and maintain clean, safe work area.

Assemblers 1st & 2nd Shift Available $18.50/hr - $20.00/hr, depending on Shift Monday-Friday 1st Shift- 6:30am - 2:30pm, 2nd Shift- 2:30pm-11:00pm, plus Occasional Saturday OT

We are a seeking motivated and dependable Assemblers for an established electrical supply company in Estherville, IA, that has been in business for 50 years. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling power cables and ensuring products meet quality and production standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. You must be able to work well independently while also collaborating with a team of production assemblers to meet daily production goals. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment and is looking to join a well-established company.

Responsibilies:

• Perform direct labor duties assigned by the Power Cable Lead/Supervisor, including the assembly of power cables, junction boxes, and other required component parts following established specifications.
• Use automatic equipment and hand tools effectively and safely during assembly.
• Use proper torque settings for each type of receptacle assembled during the production process using the reference guide and by asking the supervisor or lead for guidance.
• Assemble all products according to established guidelines
• Meet established production and labor requirements.
• Abide by company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist other departments as required or directed
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to read workshop documents, build specification sheets, and understand the requirements for assembling each cable
• Ability to identify basic primary colors independently.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and measuring (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; use a ruler to measure lengths & widths accurately.)
• Must be able to use automatic equipment and hand tools effectively and safely during the assembly process. This includes the ability to establish proper torque settings
• Must be able to work effectively independently and within a group or team setting on a daily basis.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 1-75 lbs.
• Must have dexterity and strength in both hands
• Must be able to stand consistently for 6-8 hours
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
